PACK EXPO 2013: Another Great Success!

In any industry, for any business, the value seen by attending a trade show is highly significant. It’s an opportunity to not only get out there and generate leads and sales, but also to have face-to-face connections with customers and peers, and form relationships within your industry. Trade shows also offer many opportunities to learn more, and pass that new knowledge on to your staff and clients.

According to this article on the importance of trade shows , “The positive impact of exhibiting at a trade show isn’t confined just to the event, as 87 percent of attendees will pass along some of the information they obtained at the show, and 64 percent will tell at least six other people about it.” From a sales perspective, it’s invaluable—as well as from a growth perspective. We believe wholeheartedly in the importance of trade shows, and just recently saw that value when we attended PACK EXPO, September 23-25. Over 27,500 people attended the event—the largest one on the show’s history—and 1,750 exhibitors presented their products. And we were one of them.

For three days, packaging and processing professionals gathered to exhibit their companies’ products, view the offerings, experience educational sessions, and come together as an industry. It was exciting and successful! We saw a ton of foot traffic at our booth throughout the event; at least 75% of those who visited our booth had specific projects in mind. Not only did we make great contacts and generate leads from attendees, but also from other exhibitors. As always, PACK EXPO proved to be a great success, for many reasons. We look forward to next year’s show in Chicago, November 2-5, booth #7752.
